What can Usability Testing do for me?

Incorporating Usability Data into Your Research or Grant Project

This workshop will provide an introduction to the types of testing and the types of qualitative and quantitative data that can be captured using Usability Testing.   User testing of interfaces and websites allows researchers to determine how effective this content is for the user.  The Participant's actions are recorded for both qualitative and quantitative information. These results can then be then analyzed to help identify problems with the interface.

Usability Testing can be done in a wide variety of research contexts, from collecting data for a research study to incorporating Usability as a step in a grant or research project.
